M.I.A.

I have been so off track lately with Diwali (Indian new year, my Hubby is Indian), Halloween, babysitting and birthdays....All really bad excuses but I am sticking to them.... I haven’t put on a lot but I haven’t lost much either!! 
Also my Hubby and I got great news from the Spanish nhs we finally got a doctors appointment which we have been waiting for a long time!! to cut a long story short... pitter patter maybe on the way next year! all this does affect my ability to lose weight due to the hormonal side of things, they have done some more blood work and I will find out at the end of the month if I need to be treated for my thyroid. 

So, before the 28th of Nov I need to push myself to lose as much as I can.....!!!
I am going to try and post daily again, as it does force me to be a good girl..... I have stuck to my oats for breakfast and while eating at home there hasn’t been any carbs but my water in take has gone to pot!! 
I will be doing a 4-5 day of pp just to kick start things again!
Hope everyone else is beating the battle of weight lose and if you have any tips please do share.

Day 9 - Wednesday

Phase: Cruise
Weight Loss: no weigh in 
 
Since I sinned with carbs yesterday I am doing 3 days pp! Couldn’t weigh in this morning as I didn’t get down to pharmacy I will probably go down this afternoon and see where how I am going, * reminder buy scales.
I made my favourite until now pure protein recipe Spicy meatballs, they are such a good dish easy to make and you don’t feel like you need anything else with them. Recipe here.

I stuck my dukan diet plan on the fridge yesterday; as I do spend a lot of time in the kitchen cooking it will keep me focused. I am aiming to be at my half way mark by the beginning of December! We are going to a big function the and I wont to look good. I have been think different on this diet compared to other I have done, instead of being pulled to eat the wrong kind of food, I think if I stick to it then by December I will be so much lighter if I sin I will be the same or heavier!! What keeps you focused?

Food Diary: 

Breakfast: Cinnamon pancakes

Lunch:      Chicken breast with seasoning cook in the oven (too dry wont do that again)

Main:        Spicy meatballs

Dessert:   0% Yogurt
 
Snacks:    0% Yogurts

Drank:       2 1/2 litres water, 2 coffee’s and a cup of tea, all with sweetener & skimmed milk.
 
Exercise: 20min walk

Baguette!

Day 8 - Tuesday

Phase: Cruise
Weight Loss: no weigh in

Unfortunately yesterday went pear shaped, my friends little girl hurt herself had to take her to hospital, up in the north of the island, thankfully wee Maddie is fine now, it got late and we eat at the hospitals cafeteria, so I had a baguette with chicken in mayo and salad for dinner, as there was nothing else going! I will make it up by doing 3 days pp .

Food Diary: 

Breakfast: Choc oat bran Muffins - recipe here
Lunch:      Turkey stir fry

Main:        Chicken mayo baguette

Dessert:   none
 
Snacks:     0% Yogurts

Drank:       2 litres water, 2 coffee’s

Nice surprise

Day 7 - Monday

Phase: Cruise
Weight Loss: -0.500kg

Although I I hadn’t sinned with carbs over the weekend I was still scared to step on the scales!! but to my surprise I lost 500grams which I was very happy about!
So now we are on the cruise phase, I am excited to try new recipes.

Food Diary: 

Breakfast: Scrambled eggs

Lunch:      Tuna wraps
Main:        Turkey stir fry

Dessert:   0% Yogurts
 
Snacks:     0% Yogurts
 
Exercise:  None - I feel very bad for not getting on the wii!!

Hardest day yet!

Day 6 - Sunday

Phase: Attack
Weight Loss: no weigh in today

We went to the cinema in the evening, before going I made my dinner so I wouldn’t feel hungry at the cinema but really found it hard not to cave in and have some crisps my favourite snack!! I fought really hard against the impulse and had a coke zero instead, hubby had salted popcorn, I am not a great fan so it didn’t tempt me. 
Came home and I was starving so we had tuna omelettes and a yogurt. 

Food Diary: 

Breakfast: Cinnamon pancakes

Lunch:       Chicken breat, chinese style. cooked on George Foreman

Main:         Turkey fillet x2 in a garlic sauce made from quark, Tuna omelette.

Dessert:  nothing
 
Snacks:     0% Yogurts
 
Exercise:  None

Day 5 - Saturday


Phase: Attack
Weight Loss: Didn’t get a chance to weigh myself. 

I knew the weekend was going to be a challenge and it was!!
We met up with friend on Saturday night and I did cave and had 2 glasses of dry white wine!! but then went for a meal and stuck to proteins even though carbs were everywhere, potatoes, chips and bread were on the table and I didn’t touch them...not even a chip! So I am proud of that.

Lunch:       Beef sasauges

Main:         Fillet steak

The Same

Day 4 - Friday


Phase: Attack
Weight Loss: Nothing stuck at same weight.....gutted :0(

I know I said I wasn’t going to weigh myself daily but it got the better of me and I did yesterday again, and to be honest I’m itching to weigh myself today to see if there has been any movement!! I have to go down to the pharmacy as I don’t have scales at home (I would be on them every 5mins!) so I might have to hold out until Monday now!
Had a lovely dinner last night my parents, we did mix and match, they are on the Cruise phase now but just had a side serving of veg, mum made goulash it was lovely.


Food Diary: 

Breakfast: Scrambled eggs

Lunch:       Tuna Wrap

Main:         Chicken in pepper sauce, Beef Goulash

Dessert:  Low fat Strawberry Jelly with a 0% lemon yogurt on top.

Snacks:     0% Yogurts
 
Exercise:  35mins on the wii fit.



Tuna Wraps:


1 large garlic glove
tps Paprika 
1 small chilli
Tomato sauce
add Tuna, I used natural tinned. 


Dukan pancake with oregano, basil and a pinch of salt, pepper and sweetener. yummy
